The clean and minimalist façade of this Passive House design holds a spacious, three-bedroom home complete with a home office and well-appointed master suite.
The front foyer provides a guest-ready entry, while busy families will enjoy the mudroom (with laundry) on the garage side of the home. An open kitchen includes countertop seating as well as a dedicated dining space, which welcomes the daylight and views with floor-to-ceiling windows and an oversized sliding-glass door to the patio. The large living room also features full-height glass and patio access, and is neatly separated from the cooking area by the home’s central staircase. Just off the living room is a private office with its own exterior entrance.
Upstairs, a spacious master bedroom boasts an en-suite master bath, walk-in closet, and bonus room for a fitness space, office, or additional walk-in closet. Large windows throughout maximize views and daylight. The private master suite is set apart from the other two bedrooms by a wide hall and second full bath.
The RPA LivingHome 2 was designed to meet Passive House* and net zero energy standards, shipping complete with best-in-class smart home technology, energy monitoring, and high-performance fresh air systems for heating, cooling, and ventilation. Like all LivingHomes, the RPA LivingHome 2 is solar-ready, and its classic pitched roof creates the optimal surface for attaching photovoltaic panels.
*Passive House certification is administered through Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) or Passive House International (PHI). Certification is entirely optional, so certification fees are not included in the LivingHome cost estimate.
High windows along the side walls provide abundant daylight without sacrificing privacy or security, while large windows along the back of the home achieve an open, airy feel. The master bedroom features a large walk-in closet, en-suite bath, and a substantial private deck for making the most of those second-floor views. The guest bedrooms share access to a secure balcony that spans the entire front of the home.
Like every LivingHome, the LivingHome 4 is designed to meet net-zero standards and ships complete with best-in-class smart home technology and energy monitoring.

What is the difference between Custom and Prefab ADUs?
Custom:
A Custom ADU is site-built on your property to meet your exact specifications. This option offers complete flexibility in design, materials, and layout to perfectly match your vision and the existing aesthetics of your property. Ideal for unique requirements and personalized finishes.
Prefab:
A Prefab ADU is a pre-designed, factory-built unit that is delivered fully assembled to your property. This option is typically faster and more cost-effective than custom builds, with a variety of design options to choose from. Perfect for those seeking a streamlined and efficient solution.
